It ended up, for me, as a collaboration with Liz McIllwaine above. I very often pick books by their cover, particularly from my local library. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. helenjean@midgetgemquiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005403786619091105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5435844874964791975.post-4834147746562336282015-02-28T11:44:10.921-08:002015-02-28T11:44:10.921-08:00I chose this week's book by its title, does th...I chose this week's book by its title, does that count? With my own name in the title, I couldn't resist Emma Healey's debut novel 'Elizabeth is Missing' and I'm glad I didn't. This is an excellent whodunit with a difference. Eighty year old Maud is sliding into dementia but buried deep in her memory is the solution to a seventy year old mystery. Her confusion and disorientation make unsettling reading but I really enjoyed this book.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14319245956566271781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5435844874964791975.post-19563626095832799622015-02-26T22:22:06.708-08:002015-02-26T22:22:06.708-08:00I like the look of Marimont's Ghost.I like the look of Marimont's Ghost.kayerjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08479123027080062607noreply@blogger.com
